What is leadership? In my own point of view, leadership is the way to organizing peoples in order to achieve a common goal. In today management, it requires us to have a lot of patient. Thus, it is not an easy job to manage and organize subordinates in an organization. There will be a lot of challenges and criticism which need to be tackle by the manager in order to be a good leader. A role of manager is to ensure that he or she can adopt all the changes that might occur in the organization either it involves with internal or external organizational behavior change. On the other hand, a good leader must be able to communicate well with their subordinates. Some people are born with their own ability and capability to become a leader. People with a big thinking will try developing themselves in order to become champions. Therefore, a successful manager will always find a key point to grab all the available opportunities around them. By doing so, it will help them to expand their mind in order to become a good leader.
Besides, leader should also show a good example to their subordinates. Thus, a strategic planning is requiring in order helping the manager to cope with any difficulties that arise in the organization. To make a wise decision, leader should analyze every single thing with no interference by their personal interest. Meaning that, leader should always be fair and justice with all of their subordinates. If the subordinates feel that they are being appreciates by their top management, this will increase their motivational level and also will give a good impacts to their job performance. On the other hand, manager should have a good teamwork among all of the employees. By doing so, this will reduce the burden of work among all of the employees if they have a strong teamwork. It’s not easy to become a manager because we need to be knowledgeable in our own job field. But, if the manager is a good planner, he or she will always become a good leader in organizing and controlling whatever obstacles that might occur in the organization.
Therefore, in order to improves our knowledge, getting a good mentor helps create momentum. Find someone knowledgeable about your field and make them your friend. Do ask for their advice. If you have a question about something you do not understand, ask your mentor, and learn from them. If you do not have a mentor that you can meet face to face, find a mentor through your studies or your reading. By doing so, this will help us to seek something new in our life. Sometimes, criticisms help us to develop our strength in order to be someone new. We should always be able to adopt all the criticisms in a positive way so that we can become a strong and tough person.
In some situation, it is true that some people are luckier than others. I have no doubt about it. Thus, you are the one that determine your own luck. You can make things happen through hard work and intelligence. Sometimes, we fail to overcome any of bad situation in our life. The fact is that, few people have been able to take a bad situation or an unlucky situation and turn it around through hard work. Therefore a positive mind will help us to differentiate between a bad and good side. Some people believe in luck. But we must remember that luck does not come around often. So when it does, be sure to take full advantage of it even if it require us to working very hard. Leadership is not only focus on leading and to shape one's lifestyle but it also deal with every changes that occur around us.
Word of the day: Worry, fear and timid will destroy focus. To be a successful person, you must conquer fear. Everyone who does anything is criticized. Expect it and listen to it. Then, dismiss it. Don't let problems conquer your life, but do cope with it and fix it for a better life.
